Digipack Analysis and Inspiration

The Stone Roses - The Very Best of The Stone Roses
- The Stone Digipack well represents their band and style of music whilst still being effortlessly attractive. The white background and multicoloured artwork gives a crisp clean feel but also allows the psychedelic side of the music to be portrayed through the digipack. The artwork used in this digipack heavily influences our digipack as this psychedelic image is one that suits our band and their music very well and the idea of a white background gives the album a very positive feel and makes it more attractive to potential buyers who are yet to hear the bands music. It is a good idea for a digipack as it does not convey any radical ideals such as System of a Downs "Steal This Album"which therefore makes it appealing to a wider audience despite just our target range of 18-24 year olds.

Conclusion
Studying the Stone Roses digipack was a very important task as it properly showed us how much of a hard task creating the digipack would be. It also however gave us a better understanding of how to create one so that when it came to the time in which we need to make ours we are prepared. Taking influence from the Stone Roses in our own digipack will be effective as Stone Roses themselves and our band Rivera both use long ringing notes in many of their songs and the Stone Roses digipack accurately represents this so we want to create the same feel with our own.

(There were additional images of the whole digipack rather than simply the front cover however they would not send to the computer. We will try and resolve this issue as soon as possible)
